DAISY: AI Disclosure Form for University Students

INSTRUCTIONS – HOW TO USE DAISY-STUDENT

1. DAISY-STUDENT helps you to create an AI Disclosure Statement which you can copy and paste into your school or university assignment.

2. For each activity (understanding the assignment, searching for literature, ideation and brainstorming, etc), select how much AI support was used (None, Low, Medium, High). This will auto-generate the statement for you.

3. You can also edit the text in each section that appears in brackets to describe what the AI did and where (e.g. in “Understanding the assignment” you could select “Medium” and change the text in the brackets to “translating the assignment to French and then creating a list of steps to follow”. This text will then be added to your auto-generated statement.

4. You can further edit the statement in the “Editable” box if you want to personalise it further.
